The City Assessor shall perform the functions mandated under
PB BLG.337 and PC No. 454, as amended, and shall be responsible
in the implementation, operation and administration of the plans
and programs of the office in accordance with the
objectives, guidelines and systems of the Department of Finance
ADMINISTRATIVE DIVISION
Provides administrative support and services requirements of the
office; performs all aspect of administrative work as required;
performs supply management functions
ASSESSMENT
OPERATIONS EVALUATION DIVISION
Implement all assessment regulations and reviews assessment
policies and procedures and recommends changes for
consideration. Reviews tax declaration and conduct periodic
assessment audit.
ASSESSMENT
RECORDS MANAGEMENT DIVISION
Responsible for records management and release of finalized
copies to line agencies, maintain assessment record and updates
the same as deemed necessary.
TAX
MAPPING DIVISION
Prepares base maps, control roll and conducts field inspection
to identify location, ownership, classification and existing
improvement. Coordinates with other divisions on matters
relative to the tax mapping control roll and property index
number.
APPRAISAL
DIVISION
Conducts continuous surveys and researches on market values of
different classes of land, and prepares schedule of market
values. Conducts ocular inspection of properties subject to
appraisal and determines the correct classification of the same.
Prepare field sheets and appraisal.
ASSESSMENT
STANDARDS AND EXAMINATION DIVISION
Conducts regular physical surveys to check and determine whether
all real properties are properly appraised. Reviews preliminary
schedule of market values and prepares final schedule of market
values. Recommends changes in innovation on procedures in
assessing the real properties. |
