The City
Engineer directs technical and administrative phases of all
infrastructure and other engineering works of the city. Directs
and supervises all technical and administrative functions of the
office.
PLANNING,
DESIGNING AND PROGRAMMING STAFF
Undertakes the planning, designing and programming of all
proposed projects of the city and prepares the necessary
estimates and specifications and work programs/requirements.
ADMINISTRATIVE DIVISION
Provides administrative support and services requirements of the
office; performs all aspect of administrative work as required;
performs supply management functions.
BUILDING
AND INDUSTRIAL SAFETY INSPECTION DIVISION
Process building plans and permits, conducts inspection of
construction site to determine compliance of the National
Building Code and city ordinances. Conducts periodic
inspection of electrical layouts and installations.
QUALITY
CONTROL DIVISION
Directs and supervises the works on laboratory analysis and
testing of materials. Submit report on findings and
recommendations for considerations of higher authorities.
ARCHITECTURAL DIVISION
Handles the architectural plans and designs of all government
facilities including redesigning facilities in relation with
their physical structures.
CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE DIVISION
Directs the construction, improvement, repair and maintenance of
all city and national-aided city roads and bridges, drainage
systems and manholes. Handles the construction and/or repair of
the motorpool.
MOTORPOOL
DIVISION
Handles the operation of the motorpool and directs the repair
and maintenance of all government vehicles, light and heavy
equipment. |
