The City
Treasurer is charged with the duties and responsibilities of
providing adequate financial support for the dispensation of
essential public services and prosecution of infrastructure
programs; responsible for the call of taxes throughout the city
and other revenues authorized by law, take all custody of funds
entrusted to the treasury and exercise fiscal accountability for
the disbursement of all city and other funds entrusted to him.
TREASURY
OPERATIONS REVIEW DIVISION
Conducts audit and examination of cash accountable offices;
examines daily statement of collections and deposits; verifies
bank accounts of the city; reviews and evaluate project
estimates and prepares the budgetary plans and programs of the
office.

Takes charge of the receipt and collection of all kinds of
taxes and fees, acknowledge receipt of various allotments
from the national government; acts as custodian and
depository of cash; prepares abstracts of receipt of
statement of collection and submits reports of collection
and deposits. |

Responsible for the withdrawal of cash for payment of
claims and obligations; pay in cash or in check all valid
claims for salaries, wages, services rendered and/or
supplies delivered based on approved vouchers; prepares
regular premium remittances; maintain cash book for
different funds; prepares cash disbursement reports and
liquidations. |
