The City
Registrar is responsible for the v=civil registration program of
the city. Implements the civil Registry Law, the Family and
Civil Code and other pertinent laws, rules and regulations
issued and related to the civil status of persons
ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF
Provides administrative support and services requirements of the
office; performs all aspect of administrative work as required.
BIRTH
REGISTRATION DIVISION
File, keep and preserve the books/records of birth. Receives and
enter in the birth registration books all registrable documents
and judicial decrees affecting the birth registration of persons
MARRIAGE
LICENSE DIVISION
Receive applications for issuance of marriage license and after
determining that the requirements including supporting
certificates and publication thereof for the prescribed period
have been complied with, issue the license upon payment of the
authorized fee. Enter in the appropriate civil registry books
for marriage, all registrable document and judicial decrees
affecting civil status of persons.
DEATH
REGISTRATION DIVISION
Accepts registrable documents and issues registered documents or
certified transcript of death. File, keeps and preserves in a
secure place the civil registry book on death registration.
MISCELLANEOUS CIVIL REGISTRY DIVISION
Responsible for keeping up-to-date and accurate records of court
orders and other legal documents pertaining to status of persons
such as adoption, change of name, naturalization, election of
Philippine citizenship, etc. |
