The City
General Services Officer performs functions as mandated under
Sec. 490 of the Local Government Code. In addition, he shall
take custody of and be accountable for all properties, real or
personal, owned by the city government and those granted in form
of donations and/or assistance. Maintain and supervise
janitorial, security, landscaping and street lighting and other
related services of the city. Provide frontline services in
terms of records, supply and property management and enforces
policies pertaining to disposal of material as well as exercise
such power related to general services.
ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF
Provides administrative support and services requirements of the
office; performs all aspect of administrative work as required.
Provides services on supply and property management programs.
SUPPLE
MANAGEMENT DIVISION
Responsible for the procurement and acquisition of supplies,
material and equipment needed by the department. Implement
policies, laws and regulations with regards to procurement and
supply management. Take charge of the storage and disposition of
supplies needed by all departments of the city.
BUILDING
MANAGEMENT AND SERVICES DIVISION
Takes charge of the security of buildings, installation and
other properties of the city government. Provide general,
janitorial services to city offices as well as the maintenance
of the comfort rooms.
LANDSCAPING AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES DIVISION
Takes charge in the repair of all furniture and fixture of city
government offices. Conducts maintenance and repair of
equipments such as air conditioners, typewriting, refrigeration
and computer. Responsible for the maintenance of various
city parks and playgrounds and upkeep of all facilities and
plants therein.
PROPERTY
MANAGEMENT DIVISION
Conducts regular inventory of all equipment units, vehicles and
all properties owned by the city government. Takes charge in the
disposition of records and waste materials. Takes charge in the
installation and maintenance of street and traffic lights.
